The Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, formerly known as the American Journal of Diseases of Children, is the oldest continuously published pediatric journal in the country, dating back to 1911. It is an international peer-reviewed journal published 12 times per year; the online version is published on the first Monday of the month. A Middle Eastern edition of Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine is published bimonthly. Archives' acceptance rate for Original Articles is 20%. The Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine incorporates AJDC, the oldest journal in US pediatric literature, which originated in 1911.
