This loose leaf pamphlet contains much useful information for one interested in the subject. It is practical and has much information to which one can easily refer.

The first part is taken up with the shipment of clinical specimens, with detailed information as to how this should be done. There follow a long chapter on the bacteriology of specific communicable diseases and one on the bacteria common to shellfish, to milk, to water and to sewage.
