"Bearing in mind the great enhancement of the immunizing powerof diphtheria toxin or toxoid through precipitation with alum,the writer suggests the experimental trial of alum-treated formalizedvirus as an immunizing agent against poliomyelitis both forlocal as well as systemic immunization.
