As one would expect of a volume by Dr. Abbott, this atlas is most comprehensive and enlightening. The explanatory notes are clear, and the classification is instructive. Diagrams of the various types of congenital cardiac lesion are included, as well as photographs of the specimens themselves. The book is a beautiful and welcome contribution to the subject by one who probably knows more about congenital heart disease than does any one else in the world. . . .
