This English publication, the contributors to which are among the outstanding physicians in Great Britain, is an attempt to present diagnostic data in alphabetic sequence; not only the diseases but also the symptoms are so arranged. The whole is profusely illustrated with the usual cuts and also with many colored plates and well chosen roentgenograms. Not the least important feature for a book of this sort is the index, which in this work covers a total of one hundred and eighteen pages of fine print.
