GENERAL

Memorial to Dr. Ruhräh.—A memorial room was opened in the building of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland on January 21 in honor of the late Dr. John Ruhräh of Baltimore. The room was furnished by friends of Dr. Ruhräh, principally outside the medical profession, and it is hoped ultimately to make this room a replica of the one in which he lived and worked for the last twenty-five years of his life. Many of his own books have been placed in the room, which will be formally dedicated at the annual meeting of the faculty in April. The opening of the room was a feature of the meeting of the Osler Historical Society. Dr. Sanford V. Larkey, librarian of the Welch Medical Library of Johns Hopkins University, spoke on "Children and Witches," and Dr. John Rathbone Oliver presented "An Unpublished Autograph Letter of Dr. John Crawford." . . .
