A study of the dimensions and growth of the palate in infants with gross maldevelopment of the lip and palate has previously been reported.1 Included in that report are twenty-eight sets of measurements of twenty-six infants. The present report includes those data and additional measurements, which are given in table 1. The additional measurements were obtained in the manner described in the previous report. The data on the normal palate are the same as in the previous report.

The method of analysis is slightly different; that is, regression lines were fitted by the correlation technic instead of by two simultaneous equations, as in the former study.2 In general the results have not been materially changed by including data on twenty-three additional cases.
