This book takes up in a very comprehensive way the various diseases of children in which ultraviolet rays or roentgen rays are advocated as a treatment.

The book is divided into two parts; the first deals with ultraviolet rays, the second with roentgen rays. Under each part the various methods of production and properties of the ultraviolet rays and roentgen rays are outlined, and the method of measuring the dosage is given. Also, the harmful effects that may complicate this form of therapy are dealt with in full.

Under each division the various diseases discussed are described and classified, and the methods of treatment are outlined. If indicated, the exact procedure, dosage and dangers of ultraviolet and roentgen irradiation are stated. Numerous cases illustrate the above points.
