In the review by Wallis and Schollberg1 of 171 reported cases of milky ascites, no congenital case is mentioned, and only 3 patients were under 1 year of age. In an analysis of 128 reported cases by Boston,2 there was only a single case reported as congenital, and 6 patients were under 1 year of age.
