This large and rather closely printed volume represents a "stock-taking" of the work done under the stimulus of the Bureau of Social Hygiene with the administrative guidance of the Division of Medical Sciences, of the National Research Council, and covers the accomplishments since November, 1921.
The work is a compilation contributed to by twenty-three well known and competent men in the fields of physiology, biology, medicine and endocrinology. A complete review of so exhaustive a volume is obviously impossible.
