This extremely interesting book is made up largely of the discussion of nine children presenting behavior problems. There is also a general discussion of the technic of history taking and treatment.
The outstanding factor of the presentation is the elaborate but essential history taking. Not only the facts but also their interpretation and effect on the behavior of the patient are given. The attitude assumed is psychoanalytic. The psychoanalysis and plans of treatment are not so well presented.
The book is well written and interesting throughout. It provides profitable reading for any one dealing with children.
