In this volume an attempt is made to discuss abnormal children from a physiologic viewpoint. Dr. Collin lays particular stress on the differences of function of various parts of the nervous system. He stresses the fact that motor disturbances do not necessarily involve mental defects, and vice versa.

On the whole, the viewpoint is sound, and the author makes a very definite attempt to place the study of the neurologic disturbances of childhood on a simple and intelligible basis. . . . [Full Text PDF of this Article]
