We have attempted to prove in two previous communications¹ that in the roentgen ray we have a therapeutic agent for the treatment of whooping cough which is of definite value, and in our opinion, gives better results than any other single method of treatment. The object of this present paper is to present further evidence, which has been accumulating during the last year, of the beneficial action of this form of therapy.

We are encouraged by seeing in several recent journals that similar studies are being carried on in other parts of the country. Kingston and Faber² from California report favorable results in a series of cases. Struthers³ of Montreal records similar improvement in patients treated by this method. Several personal communications citing individual cases confirm our observations.
