A 7-YEAR-OLD GIRL had a history of "vaginal bleeding" for 3 days before presenting to the emergency department. She also complained of urinary frequency, dysuria, and vulvar pruritus. Medical history was unremarkable. Results of her physical examination were normal, except for a perineal mass as seen in Figure 1. There was no evidence of active bleeding. A 6-year-old girl with a similar history and findings is seen in Figure 2.
