This book is written from the personal experience of Kellie Robinson, who has hydrocephalus, and her husband, Chuck Toporek; their story is related in the introduction. Their strong quest for knowledge about hydrocephalus resulted in extensive research to produce a book written in simple lay terms for patients and families affected by hydrocephalus. It offers medical information in terms that are understandable, practical matters that make life less stressful, and emotional support with stories of patients and their experiences.
