Androgen Therapy in an "excessively" tall boy
R. H. Ruvalcaba, D. S. Tattoni and V. C. Kelley
An "excessively" tall, early pubertal boy was treated with androgen for a
period of 33 months. Sexual development and fusion of epiphyses was
accelerated with achievement of shorter stature than that predicted prior
to therapy. Testicular size did not appear to be impaired by the therapy.
Androgen administration in this young boy appeared to be effective in
shortening the eventual adult stature.
