Abstract

Educational approaches for mentally retarded children as well as educators' perceptions of mental retardation are currently undergoing profound change. The present review of trends in this field is intended for pediatricians, psychiatrists, and other medical specialists involved in the diagnosis and treatment of mental retardation.
